Interdisciplinary artist, curator, and collector, Rami Farook, presents a new series of works titled ‘white cloth / black cloth’. Rami documents the last quarter of 2023 in real time via paintings on canvas; from the serene Gaza sea melting into an unforeseeable horizon, to visions of children with fists up in the air, to mourners, all refracted back at the viewers.
About the participant
Satellite
Satellite is a multi-use studio and event space set up in early 2011 by artist and collector Rami Farook, along with artist James Clar. As an artist studio and residency, Satellite has shape-shifted over the years to become, at times, a library, bookstore, and gallery, with frequent pop-up events, solo shows, and curated group exhibitions.
