Mexican artist and sculptor Edgar Orlaineta creates hybrid sculptural forms that draw inspiration from modernism, popular culture, and pivotal historical moments. By exploring objects in their non-functional or decontextualized states, he reduces them to their purest essence—simply as "things"—challenging traditional ideas about art and the origins of objects.
