The Ice Hole - A Cardboard Comedy is back to make you laugh, gasp, and marvel at the magic of theatre.
A story for ALL ages – whimsical, hilarious, and heartwarming at The Junction for this award-winning play, featuring the dynamic duo Sadiq Saboowala and Patrick Albrecht, in an adaptation of the Molière 2022 du Théâtre Public-winning masterpiece “Les Gros Patinent Bien” by Olivier Martin-Salvan and Pierre Guillois.
In the icy wilderness of the Great North, a man in a three-piece suit is fishing when fate takes a fantastical turn. An unexpected encounter with a mermaid propels him into an unpredictable and wild journey told entirely with... cardboard!
About the participant
THE JUNCTION
The Junction is Dubai's only black box theatre, a performing arts space created by performers, for performers, located at Alserkal Avenue and established in 2015. It has become home for Dubai’s growing performing arts community, an acapella singing festival, stand-up comedy gigs, magic shows, dance performances, and various theatrical productions performed in English, Arabic, Hindi, French, and Italian.
