Founded in 2013, the Courtyard Playhouse is the UAE’s first small theatre venue. It offers a programme of improvisation, acting workshops and performances for children and adults, and is Dubai’s only KHDA-licensed improvisation theatre and training centre. The Courtyard Playhouse boasts two theatre spaces, seating 75 and 35, each equipped with top-of-the-range lighting, sound and projection systems.

During Quoz Arts Fest 2023, Courtyard Playhouse will be offering trial improv classes for those wanting to give it a try for free. These classes will be limited, so arrive early to avoid disappointment (places are given on a first-come-first-served basis with priority given to those whose names are registered in advance).
