The souk will host vendors with products that dream up a connection with the land. The market will act as an interactive and communicative space by encouraging visitors to question how being far from a place yet connecting to it via craft can formulate a connection towards an imagined state inspired by memory, stories, and documented realities.

Cinema Akil is the arthouse cinema dreams are made of - cosy, quirky, and a pioneer in bringing critically-acclaimed films from around the world to UAE audiences.
After years of hosting nomadic pop ups in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Sharjah, the first arthouse cinema in the GCC opened its permanent home at Alserkal Avenue in 2018, quickly becoming a fan favourite. Founded by Butheina Kazim, Cinema Akil promotes the goal of education and awareness-building around film and the cinematic arts.
