Reel Palestine, founded in 2015, has grown into a beloved platform for sharing Palestinian stories and heritage, primarily through film at the Yard at Alserkal Avenue. Celebrate Palestinian culture at its annual film festival in the UAE. On the 25th Jan 10PM to 11.30PM.
Reel Palestine’s Souk will showcase a curated selection of unique crafts, souvenirs, and flavors inspired by Palestinian traditions at the Back Lane. Over two weekends at Quoz Arts Fest, the souk will feature vendors offering products that evoke a deep connection to the land.

Cinema Akil is the arthouse cinema dreams are made of - cosy, quirky, and a pioneer in bringing critically-acclaimed films from around the world to UAE audiences.
After years of hosting nomadic pop ups in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Sharjah, the first arthouse cinema in the GCC opened its permanent home at Alserkal Avenue in 2018, quickly becoming a fan favourite. Founded by Butheina Kazim, Cinema Akil promotes the goal of education and awareness-building around film and the cinematic arts.
