kanvas, a new immersive event and art space in Dubai, will be hosting the ‘Revival of Aesthetics 2.0’ exhibition, in partnership with Generative Gallery and curated by Ivan Nefedkin. The exhibition will be on display from 27 January to 20 February 2023 and will showcase the work of artist Mammadov, who has used a state-of-the-art machine learning algorithm to create more than 150,000 carpet compositions and sketches inspired by the cultural heritage of carpet weaving in the East.

Through the use of data painting techniques, thread simulation, and color data, Mammadov's work honors the cultural heritage of carpet making while also exploring the potential and problems of data as a resource for artistic inspiration.
